My name is Christopher Speariett and I attend Range High School Formby. On Saturday the 1 st of July 2006 I took part in the Sefton Triathalon in a three person Disabled team. The triathalon consists of three legs a swim, a wheelchair push and a bicycle ride. My role was the wheelchair push which was along the promenade of Crosbybeach. It was particularly difficult due to the sand which had blown onto the Promenade making it difficult to move the wheelchair wheels. I wore gloves to protect My hands and to my joy I won 1 st place. I was also amazed to be the competitor Who collected the largest amount of sponsorship money over £300 and won a trip To the England Football team's training camp to meet the England team. It was a day I will never forget! I am looking forward to taking part in the 2007 Sefton Triathalon. It is an amazing day which is enjoyed by people of all abilities raising much needed money for very worthy charities.
