AN INCREASE in bidding activity followed Tuesday night's Granada Reports' coverage of our ultimate football marathon. After the broadcast seven new bidders contacted our organisers pledging their interests to play and there were hundreds of fresh hits on this website. The top three Liverpool bids now stands at £1,000, £1,000 and £900 and there have been a further 20 Kopite bids made between £500 and £750. And Everton's top three bids stands at £1,500, £1,000 and £1,000 with an additional 14 Blue bids tabled between £500 and £700. Our organisers are now bracing themselves for a late flurry of auction activity in the final few days of bidding. It is the highest three bids at this stage that will be offered the guaranteed places subject to them accepting the payment agreement and attaining the minimum fitness requirements. Your other option to attain a place is to come to the Fitness Assessment "boot camps" on January 17, 24 and 31 and compete with the others hoping to win one of the 10 places allocated through these trials. This blog will keep you updated of any auction developments! |
