Radio City - Cash for Kids

Radio City’s Cash for Kids is part of Bauer Cash for Kids (reg Charity no 1122062). We are the official charity of Radio City, Citytalk and Magic 1548.We are a children’s charity recognised for helping children and young people suffering from poverty, sickness, physical & mental disabilities. We distribute grants to children’s charities & community groups aiming to improve the lives of children in Liverpool, North West and North Wales. We are a Charity known for its commitment to making a difference to those it supports. We have given in excess of £1,000,000 away in grants over the last 10 years and helped over 500,000 children.

The ethos of Cash for Kids is that “every child within our community is important” this is something that our charity wholeheartedly endorses as you can see from just a small selection of the charities that Cash for Kids with your support have been able to help in the past years.

Happy Days Children’s Charity: £450: trips, workshops, respite breaks
Wirral Women and Children’s Aid: £951
Sundown £1000 to provide support for children & young people with Down’s syndrome
SPAN: £500 toward a respite caravan
Viking Centre and Youth Centre: £600
Single Parent Action Network: £5700 for equipment and providing days out
Anthony Nolan Trust: £500 to fund bone marrow donor recruitment
It is not only charities that have be awarded grants but organisations who may need financial support for football kits, play equipment or to take children who have never been on an outing, out for the day.

Our Toy Appeal in 2009 presented over £100,000 of toys to 6000 children and young people who would not have received a gift on Christmas morning, this was all down to the support of our listeners and people who live in Liverpool, The North West and North Wales.
