School's Duathlon Challenge

What is the BHF Schools Duathlon Challenge?

The Duathlon Challenge is a sponsored event that schools can get involved in. It provides a quality sporting experience for all age ranges & abilities. Children from all ages from Year 3 upwards can participate in the Duathlon which encompasses two disciplines of the triathlon- cycling & running. It also offers the chance of progression for those pupils who excel as it has been developed to allow pupils the opportunity to advance to further challenges such as the Sefton Triathlon (the official North West Schools Triathlon Championships).

The event is easy to organise - all you need is a school sports field, some bikes, helmets & cones and you`re ready to go. If you would like more information on how your school can get involved in the Duathlon Challenge and receive an information pack contact Ken Fretwell on 0151 678 2646 or e-mail fretwellk@bhf.org.uk
